Each Vehicle Owner Must Read
Shuttle Agreement & Rules
Do you have questions? We’ve got you covered! Ask ahead, as we won’t be able to reach you on the river.
Vehicle Fueling & Safety
The Owyhee region is a wilderness with unpredictable weather and poorly maintained roads that get severely muddy and slick, requiring four-wheel drive and good tires.
All the vehicles must have a FULL tank of gas. You may also leave instructions in your booking with funds in the locked vehicle for our shuttle drivers to fuel in Jordan Valley.
Vehicles must be working properly and safely. Check all fluids (oil, transmission, water), and only use vehicles in good driving condition for the rough and unpredictable roads to your chosen takeout destination.
We will not shuttle vehicles without a real, full-size spare tire. Please make sure that the spare is easily accessible.
Owyhee Adventures Shuttle can leave the vehicle with bald tires at the launch and charge our full shuttle rate.
Key Management
Key management is critical to a successful shuttle experience. We highly recommend you buy a key lock box on Amazon and provide us the code in your booking form.
We highly recommend always carrying a spare vehicle access and ignition key on the river with you.
If you do not specify where to leave the key, we will assume you have a spare set or a hidden key somewhere in the vehicle and leave the shuttle key locked in the vehicle. So please specify where you want us to hide the key on the form, or we will lock it inside.
Again, please have a spare set with you, as we have critters in takeout areas that are attracted to keys hanging under vehicles and have taken them in the past.
Start the vehicle and move it with the spare key! Please take this simple step to ensure the spare key works properly.
What If We Break Down?
If there is a chance that we cannot deliver your vehicle. We will make some arrangements so you will have a solution, but this, too, will incur a fee. Please take these details seriously.
Owyhee Adventure Shuttle LLC will not be held responsible for damage done to the vehicle while en route or parked.
Permission is hereby granted to drive the vehicle above, and it is covered by public liability and property damage insurance, which will cover the vehicle and the shuttle driver. If it does not, I understand that I am liable for charges resulting from any deficiency in coverage.
No refunds will be offered for failure to provide a
safe vehicle or trailer to be shuttled. All unsafe vehicles will be left at the launch area.
We will not be held responsible for your negligence!
All open containers of alcohol or other illegal items have been removed. I accept responsibility for charges related to items within my shuttled vehicle. The shuttle driver of my vehicle will not be charged if the vehicle is inspected and unlawful items are present.
If the vehicle becomes inoperable, unsafe, or unlawful for any reason, Owyhee Adventure Shuttles, LLC will communicate the situation with you so you know where your vehicle is.
